I will analyze your time series data using stata, r, or eviews
About this Gig
Do you have time series data sales, prices, macroeconomic indicators, financial series and need to understand what's actually happening in it: trend, seasonality, volatility, structural breaks, or relationships with other variables?
I'm a Statistics and Economic Forecasting graduate (Babeș-Bolyai University) specializing in econometrics and quantitative finance. I work with time series data in Stata, R, or EViews, going beyond a surface-level chart to test what's statistically there.
What I can help with:
Trend, seasonality, and volatility analysis
Stationarity testing (ADF, KPSS) and autocorrelation diagnostics
Regression and ARDL models with time series data
Structural break and stability tests (CUSUM, Ramsey RESET)
Forecasting (ARIMA, exponential smoothing) available as an add-on if you need projections, not just analysis of existing data
Clear, non-technical interpretation you'll understand what the numbers mean for your decision, not just get a chart
Not sure if you need pure analysis or a forecast too? Send me your dataset and what you're trying to understand I'll tell you what fits before you order.

FAQ
What kind of data do you need from me?
Any time series dataset in Excel, CSV, or .dta format — for example sales, prices, exchange rates, or other data measured over time. The more periods (data points) you have, the more reliable the analysis will be. If you're not sure your data is suitable, message me before ordering .
Do you provide forecasting, or only analysis of existing data?
Analysis of your existing data (trend, seasonality, stationarity) is included in every package. Forecasting future values is included in the Premium package, or available as an add-on extra on Basic/Standard.
What software do you use?
Stata, R, or EViews, depending on what fits the task best. Let me know if you have a preference, or I'll choose the most appropriate tool.
Will I understand the results if I'm not a statistics expert?
Yes. Every delivery includes a plain-language interpretation of what the results actually mean for your data — not just raw output or technical jargon.
Can you work with a small dataset (under 30-50 data points)?
Yes, but very short time series limit which tests are statistically reliable. I'll let you know upfront if your dataset is too small for certain methods, and suggest the best alternative approach.
What if I'm not sure which package I need?
Send me a message with a short description of your data and what you're trying to understand — I'll recommend the right package before you order.
