Planning permission is sorted, or you're doing permitted development work but your builder can't start without Building Regs drawings, and Building Control won't sign off without the technical detail to back up what's actually being constructed. That's the gap this service fills.

I prepare detailed Building Regulations drawings for submission to UK Building Control, currently working with clients across London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and Liverpool. Unlike planning drawings, which show what a design looks like, Building Regs drawings show exactly how it's built construction methods, materials, and the technical specifications an inspector needs to approve the work.

A typical package includes:

Construction details: wall build-ups, foundations, and key junctions

Structural notes for beams, lintels, and joists (coordinated with your structural engineer where calculations are needed)

Part L thermal compliance notes and U-values

Part B fire safety and means of escape notes where relevant

If you already have planning-approved drawings, I'll work directly from those so the design stays consistent between planning and Building Regs stages.
