About this Gig
Before you send your board to manufacturing, make sure it's actually correct.
I am an embedded hardware engineer with 5+ years designing commercial PCBs in KiCad from prototypes to production-ready boards manufactured at JLCPCB and PCBWay. I now review designs for other engineers and makers to catch costly mistakes before fabrication.
What I check:
- Schematic correctness and net connectivity
- Footprint accuracy and component orientation
- Power and ground plane integrity
- Trace width and current capacity
- Design rule check (DRC) violations
- Manufacturability (DFM) for your chosen fab house
- Silkscreen, clearance, and assembly issues
- Component placement and thermal considerations

Will you fix the errors or just report them?
By default I provide a detailed report so you understand and learn from the issues. If you'd like me to fix them directly in your files, select the "fix it myself" add-on.
Can you review Gerber files only?
Yes, although having the complete KiCad project allows a much deeper review.
Do you review Eagle, Altium, or other software files?
This gig is KiCad-specific. If you have files in another tool, message me first, I may still be able to help depending on the format.
What if my board has more layers or components than the package allows?
Message me before ordering with your board specs and I'll recommend the right package or a custom quote.
Can you also help with the BOM, not just the PCB?
Yes — add the BOM cost optimization add-on, or message me to discuss a custom scope.
