About this Gig
I will perform developmental edits on your novel, providing an annotated manuscript and detailed report of over 1000 words. Optional extras include faster delivery and assistance in planning on expanding your series.
Things I look out for include:
- Strong characterisation, or a lack thereof.
- Lacking description.
- Pacing.
- Plot holes.
- Weak points in the plot.
- Consistency of tone.
- Tense changes.

Emma was very quick with delivery and had much constructive criticism that helped develop my story. However, I got a strong sense that my book might not have been her preferred genre, which sometimes came through in feedback. Overall, I would recommend Emma to work with if you want someone who works fast and has extensive knowledge in writing.
