FAQ
Will I lose my Google rankings after the move?
No one can guarantee rankings, but I lower the risk: 301 redirects for every changed URL, titles and descriptions carried over, and your sitemap sent to Google Search Console. A short dip is normal.
Which platforms can you move to Squarespace?
Wix, WordPress, GoDaddy and Weebly. On another platform? Message me before ordering and I’ll tell you honestly if I can help.
Will my old site stay live while you work?
Yes. I build the new Squarespace site while your old one keeps running. We switch your domain only after you approve everything.
Do you need my passwords?
No. I only need collaborator access to Squarespace, plus an admin invite or export file from your old site. Please never send passwords in chat.
Will the new site look exactly like my old one?
Very close, but not pixel for pixel, since Squarespace uses its own templates. I match your content, structure, colors and fonts as closely as the platform allows.
