Yes. NYC DOB submissions follow a different checklist and format from standard AHJ permits. I prepare DOB compliant MEP plan sets regularly and am familiar with the specific format, sheet requirements, and PE certification language the DOB experts. Select the Premium package for NYC DOB projects.
Do I need all three MEP disciplines or can I order just one?
You can order just one.The Basic package covers a single MEP discipline; electrical, plumbing,or HVAC. The Standard and Premium packages cover two or all three. If you are unsure which disciplines your building department requires,message me with your project type and jurisdiction and I will confirm
Which codes do your MEP drawings follow?
All drawings follow current NEC (electrical), IPC (plumbing), and IMC (mechanical/HVAC) standards with applicable state and local amendments. For New York I apply NYC Electrical Code and NYC Plumbing Code amendments. For New Jersey, Illinois & Pennsylvania I follow the respective state adopted code.
What if my building department or DOB requests corrections?
