I will build a custom mcp server with tested tools

About this gig
I'll build you a custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) server a small local tool server your AI assistant can call directly, built around your own spec.
You give me a public API or tool specification, plus some example inputs (valid, invalid, and edge cases). I build 1 to 3 deterministic tools to that spec and deliver them as a local server you run yourself no hosting, no accounts, no cloud setup. Point a compatible MCP client that supports local stdio at the server and run it on your machine.
Every order includes:
- An installable Python package (ready to pip install)
- A config snippet for your MCP client
- A full test suite built from your own example inputs
- A sample stdio transcript showing real tool calls
In an independently reviewed reference build, 36 of 36 tests passed, including a real local stdio tool call.
Not included: hosting, logins/OAuth, multi-user accounts, or storing API keys or passwords. Those are outside this Gig; message me before ordering if you need them.
Message me with your spec and example inputs before ordering, so I can confirm the right package for you.

FAQ
What transport does the server use?
Local stdio only — you run it as a subprocess from your own MCP client config. No REST API, no hosting, no always-on server.
Can you add OAuth, user accounts, or handle my API keys?
No. This Gig excludes authentication, multi-user access, and secret custody. The server has no surface for credentials; those needs require a separate scope.
Will you deploy this to the cloud or Docker?
No. Hosting and container packaging are excluded. You run the delivered local stdio server yourself.
How will I verify that the tools work?
Every delivery includes tests built from your valid, invalid, and edge-case fixtures, plus MCP protocol tests and a sample local stdio call transcript.
Is a checksum or file-hashing tool unique to this service?
No. Common utility-tool shapes already exist. The value is your custom bundle, tests, documentation, and reproducible evidence—not exclusivity of a generic tool concept.
What if my project exceeds the 3-tool local stdio scope?
Message me before ordering. Hosting, OAuth, multi-user auth, secret custody, Docker, unsupported integrations, or more than 3 tools require a separate scoped order.
