I will create bim model from point cloud raw data

A Point Cloud BIM Engineer is responsible for converting 3D laser scan data (point clouds) into accurate Building Information Models (BIM) used for design, renovation, and facility management. The engineer processes and analyzes point cloud data captured using laser scanners or photogrammetry and transforms it into detailed 3D models of existing buildings and infrastructure.

Point Cloud BIM Engineers commonly work with software such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk ReCap, Navisworks, and CloudCompare to process scan data and develop accurate digital models.

Key Responsibilities

• Import and process laser scan / point cloud data from reality capture systems.
• Convert point cloud data into accurate BIM models of buildings and structures.
• Model architectural, structural, and MEP components based on scan data.
• Ensure modeling accuracy according to LOD (Level of Detail/Development) standards.
• Perform scan-to-BIM workflows for renovation, retrofit, and as-built documentation projects.
• Coordinate BIM models with project teams and detect clashes using coordination tools.
• Extract drawings, sections, and quantities from BIM models.
