FAQ
My OpenClaw or Hermes bot is online but won't reply. Can you fix it?
Yes, this is the most common problem. I check the logs and the bot token, pairing and allowlist settings, group privacy mode and the gateway. Then I fix the cause and test it live with you
Why does my agent work in DMs but not in my group chat?
Groups need extra approval and the right privacy and mention settings. I set up the pairing, adjust the bot's permissions and confirm it replies in your group before delivery.
My agent stopped working after a while. Why?
It's usually a stopped gateway, an expired or empty API key, a full disk or a crashed container. I find which one it is, fix it and set up auto-restart so it stays up.
Do I need to keep my computer on for my AI agent to work?
No. I can deploy it on a low-cost VPS, in Docker or on a Mac mini so it runs 24/7. Your daily reports and scheduled tasks keep running.
How much will it cost me each month?
The software is free, and you pay for hosting and AI usage. I add spending limits and loop protection so a bug can't run up your API bill. I can also use a cheap or free local model through Ollama to keep costs low.
Is my data safe? I heard some instances are exposed online.
That's a real risk. I keep the gateway private, lock down who can message the bot, store API keys safely and only install skills I have checked.
My local Ollama model goes quiet and does nothing. Can you fix it?
Yes. This is a known setup problem. I correct the endpoint and model settings, then test that the agent responds and takes action.
Can my AI agent connect to Shopify, Gmail or my CRM?
Yes. I connect it through n8n automation, APIs or MCP server integrations. It can handle orders, emails, leads and customer replies.
Can my agent remember things between chats?
Yes. I set up memory and an Obsidian second brain so your agent remembers your business, tasks and past chats. You can also choose a backup model so it keeps working if one provider hits a limit.
