How do we get started?
Send me a message with what you need and any examples of sites you like. I will confirm the scope, timeline and price before you order, so you know exactly what you are getting. Once we start I set up a staging site and share progress as I go.
I am not sure what I need yet. Can you help?
Of course. Just tell me about your business and what you want the site to do, and I will suggest a structure and the right package. Most buyers start with a short message rather than a full brief.
Can I update the website myself afterwards?
Yes. I build on standard WordPress, so you can edit pages, add posts and upload images without touching any code. I include handover notes and I am happy to walk you through the admin area.
Do I need to have hosting and a domain already?
Not necessarily. If you have them I will work with what you have. If not, I will recommend what suits your project and you buy it in your own name, so the site always belongs to you.
Will my site work properly on mobile?
Yes. Every build is fully responsive and tested on phone, tablet and desktop before I deliver it.
Can you work on my existing site instead of building a new one?
Yes. I can redesign, extend or fix a site that is already live. I always work on a staging copy first, so your live site keeps running normally while I work.
What do you need from me?
Your text and images, plus admin access if the site already exists. If your content is not ready yet I can build around placeholders and drop the real content in later.
What if I want changes after delivery?
Each package includes revisions for adjusting what was delivered. If you want something new added later, just message me and I will quote it. Bug fixes in my own code are free for 30 days.
My site was hacked before. Can you make sure it does not happen again?
Security is my main background. I am CompTIA Security Plus certified and an ISO 27001 lead auditor. Every build ships hardened by default, and I can run a full OWASP Top 10 scan and give you a written report as an extra.
