🎯 Job Objective The Video Editor is responsible for editing and producing a complete audiovisual project as part of a Final Year Project. The role involves transforming raw footage into a clear, engaging, and professional video while respecting the project guidelines and creative vision. 🛠 Main Responsibilities Import, organize, and review raw video and audio footage Perform video editing (cutting, trimming, sequencing) Synchronize audio with video Add transitions, titles, and basic visual effects Apply color correction and basic color grading Integrate background music and sound effects Export the final video in the required formats Present the final project if required by the academic program 💻 Technical Skills Required Proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) Understanding of storytelling and editing rhythm Basic knowledge of color correction and audio editing Familiarity with video formats, resolution, and codecs 🎨 Personal Qualities Attention to detail Creativity Ability to meet deadlines Good organization skills Ability to work independently and follow instructions 📦 Expected Deliverables Final edited video project Technical report explaining: Editing workflow Creative choices Challenges encountered Solutions implemented
