Is my product a pesticide or a pesticide device?
Products that use chemicals to kill or repel pests are pesticides. Products that work by physical means, like UV light or ultrasonic waves, are usually pesticide devices. Both need an EPA establishment number. I'll confirm your classification before filing.
What is the difference between establishment and product registration?
Establishment registration (FIFRA Section 7) registers the facility that makes your product and gives you an EPA establishment number. Product registration (Section 3) is a separate, longer review for chemical pesticides. This gig covers establishment registration.
Why did Amazon request my EPA establishment number?
Amazon reviews products that make pest, germ or virus-killing claims. If your listing mentions these claims, Amazon may require an EPA establishment number and proper labeling before it can go live again.
When is the annual production report due?
