About this Gig
Need a clean and consistent CSV file without manually fixing rows one by one ?
I will clean and standardize your CSV data using clear, agreed rules and deliver a cleaned file ready to use.
What I can do:
- Remove duplicate rows using agreed criteria
- Standardize text, spacing and capitalization
- Standardize dates, numbers or other formats according to agreed rules
- Apply defined transformations consistently across the file
- Flag ambiguous or missing values instead of guessing
What you will receive:
- A cleaned CSV file
- A short report summarizing the transformations performed and any values flagged for review
Basic package: 1 CSV file, 1 table, up to 100 data rows.
Your source file is never overwritten. I use a conservative approach: if a requested change requires an unsupported assumption about what your data means, I will flag it rather than silently modify it.
Please note: This Gig is for CSV files only. It does not include Excel/XLSX/XLSM files, formulas, macros or VBA, database access, accounting or tax interpretation, or sensitive/confidential data.

What file formats do you accept ?
This Gig is for CSV files only. I do not accept XLSX/XLSM files, spreadsheets containing formulas or macros/VBA, database access, or sensitive/confidential data.
What does “100 items cleaned” mean ?
For this Gig, 100 items means up to 100 data rows in one CSV file containing one table. The header row does not count toward this limit. If your file contains more than 100 data rows, please contact me before ordering.
What happens if some data is ambiguous ?
I will not guess what ambiguous data is supposed to mean. I will flag it for your review or ask for clarification when needed. Changes that require business, accounting, tax, or other specialized interpretation are outside the scope of this Gig.
What will I receive ?
You will receive a cleaned CSV file plus a short report summarizing the transformations performed and any values flagged for review. Your original source file will not be overwritten.
