Which AI stack do you use?
Your choice. Default is private on-device: Apple Foundation Models, MLX or Core ML models, Ollama/llama.cpp, and Whisper or Apple Speech for transcription. If you want frontier models, I integrate OpenAI, Anthropic Claude or Gemini APIs, with a local fallback so your app still works offline.
Will you publish it to the App Store?
Yes. I build sandboxed, signed and notarized apps and handle App Store Connect submission with you (Premium, or as an extra). You need an Apple Developer Program membership so the app is published under your name. Direct-download DMG distribution is also available.
What exactly is the Scaffold package?
A production-quality starting codebase: SwiftUI app structure, on-device AI already wired in with a sample feature, persistence, tests, CI and notarization config, plus README. Ideal for founders and dev teams who want to skip weeks of setup and build the product on top.
Can you also build for iPhone, iPad or Windows?
iOS/iPadOS companion apps are available as an extra using a shared codebase. I focus on Apple platforms and AI; for web or cross-platform AI platforms please see my other gigs or message me.
Who owns the code and the IP?
You do. You receive the full source repository, build instructions and architecture notes. No vendor lock-in, no hidden dependencies on my accounts
My users have older Intel Macs. Will on-device AI work?
Apple Foundation Models need Apple silicon and macOS 26. For Intel or older macOS I use smaller local models via llama.cpp or Ollama, or a cloud API, and design the app so features degrade gracefully. Tell me your users' hardware and I will pick the right stack.
How do you handle bigger projects than Premium?
We split the work into milestones, each delivered as a separate order, so you can review, test and pay stage by stage. Send your brief and I will propose a roadmap and fixed prices per milestone.
