I research Irish and Italian family lines and write them up the way a family can actually use: a dated timeline, every source cited, and an honest note on what could not be found. Irish civil and parish records, Griffith's Valuation, the 1901 and 1911 censuses; Italian stato civile and parish books; and the American side: passenger lists, census, naturalization files. I also audit record chains for Irish Foreign Births Register and Italian citizenship-by-descent applications, so you know what to order first.
