As we all know, judging one's own writing can be tough: you may be asking yourself if your prose is up to par, if your characters are vivid, or if there are glaring plot holes in your story. When you find yourself in this situation, you may be in need of detailed feedback and constructive criticism by an external reader; this is the service I provide here.

I will read your short story (up to 20 pages) or poetry (up to 5 short/medium poems) and critically assess it, pointing out both strengths and weaknesses of your piece in a written feedback of about one page. My extensive background in philology and literature equip me with the necessary background to provide you with insightful and productive observations.

Note that this does not include proofreading (i.e., checking for spelling or grammatical mistakes, although I may point out some of the latter), but only an assessment of the literary qualities of your text, encompassing structure, style, plot etc.
