FAQ
FAQ 1: Can I make money and charge businesses to list on my directory (Monetization)?
A: Yes, absolutely! I can integrate payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce) so you can charge businesses per listing, sell featured listing spots, or offer monthly/annual recurring membership subscription packages.
FAQ 2: How does the "Claim Listing" feature work?
A: You can populate your directory with hundreds of local businesses yourself. When the actual business owner visits the site, they can click "Claim This Business", verify their ownership, and pay you a recurring fee to take control and customize their profile!
FAQ 3: Do I need a Google Maps API key, and can you help set it up?
A: Yes, Google Maps requires a Google Cloud API key for map display, geolocation, and autocomplete search. If you do not have one yet, I will guide you step-by-step through generating your free Google API key or help you configure alternatives like OpenStreetMap.
FAQ 4: Which directory themes and plugins do you specialize in?
A: I have extensive experience with all industry-leading directory tools, including ListingPro, MyListing, Directorist, HivePress, GeoDirectory, Directory Pro, and Wilcity, as well as custom directory solutions built with ACF Pro and Elementor.
FAQ 5: Can business owners manage their own listings and respond to customer reviews?
A: Yes. Each registered business owner gets access to their own frontend user dashboard where they can update their business hours, photos, contact details, social links, and view analytics or respond to client reviews.
