While he was working, he flagged two things I hadn't even asked him to look at: several layout issues on mobile that I'd never caught because I'd only been reviewing the desktop view, and a couple of broken links in the cart flow that were quietly costing me sales. He didn't just point them out and move on either, he fixed them as part of the delivery.
