I already have a front end. Can you build the API to match it?
Yes, that is the ideal starting point. Send me the front end or the screens and I will design the endpoints around what it actually needs.
MongoDB or PostgreSQL, which should I choose?
Tell me what your data looks like and I will recommend one and explain why. Relational data with reporting usually wants PostgreSQL. Flexible documents and fast iteration usually want MongoDB.
Will the API be documented?
Yes. You get a Postman collection with every endpoint, example requests and example responses. Premium adds written handover documentation.
Can you add to an existing backend rather than start fresh?
Yes. I will read the existing code first and follow its patterns rather than dropping in a different style next to it.
Do you handle security?
Input validation, hashed passwords, rate limiting, CORS and environment secrets are standard on every package. If you need a formal audit, tell me and I will quote it separately.
