How do I know if my site is hacked?
Common signs are redirects to other sites, spam pages in Google, may be hacked warning, unknown admin users, or a host suspension notice. Message me if you’re unsure
What access do you need?
A temporary WordPress admin login and hosting or SFTP access. Create temporary accounts if you can, and change all passwords after the job.
. Will I lose any content?
I take a backup first and only remove infected code. If anything beyond that needs changing, I’ll tell you before I do it.
Can you remove the Google “may be hacked” or “Deceptive site ahead” warning?
Once the site is clean, I submit a review request in Google Search Console. Google controls how long the review takes, so I can’t promise a date.
How long does cleanup take?
Most sites take 24-72 hours. Large sites, WooCommerce stores and repeat infections can take longer, and I’ll tell you before starting.
Will my site get hacked again?
It can if the way in (an outdated plugin, a weak password) stays open. Standard and Premium include a follow up and recheck, and Premium adds hardening. Nobody can promise a site will never be hacked again.
Do you only use a security plugin?
I use scanners to find infected files, then clean them manually. A plugin scan alone often leaves backdoors behind.
Can you clean more than one site or a WooCommerce store?
Yes. Each extra site is +$20. For WooCommerce or very large databases, message me first for a quote.
What if the site is too damaged to clean?
I’ll tell you before doing any extra work. The options are restoring a clean backup or quoting a rebuild.
Do you offer ongoing protection?
Premium includes a 14 days recheck. For monthly monitoring and updates, message me about a care plan.
