About this gig

Adding a Stripe button is the easy part. What costs money is what happens after: a renewal fails and the customer keeps access, a webhook arrives twice and the order is paid twice, someone upgrades in the middle of the month and gets the wrong bill. I build that part first, so your site always matches what Stripe actually charged.

What you get in every package:

1. Webhooks checked for signature and handled once, even when Stripe sends them twice.

2. Paid, failed, refunded and cancelled all change the order or the access in your site.

3. A screen recording in Stripe test mode: payment, declined card, 3D Secure, refund, and on subscriptions a failed renewal and a cancel.

4. Short written notes on how it works, so the next developer is not guessing.

Any stack: WordPress and WooCommerce, PHP and Laravel, Next.js and Node.js.

I built and still maintain a WooCommerce subscription plugin that runs every day on a store with more than 7,000 orders: pauses, plan changes with proration, every gateway webhook logged, failed renewals retried. I also built a client portal where people pay by card or PayPal and get an invoice in their account.

I build web applications and fix the parts of a website that deal with money: checkout, subscriptions, invoices, payment gateways. Recent work: a Next.js marketplace with 150+ automated tests, a Laravel client portal with card and PayPal payments, and a custom WooCommerce subscription plugin that runs daily on a store with 7,000+ orders. I also build WordPress and Elementor sites. I work in writing: a short plan first, changes on a staging copy, and a phone and speed check before anything goes live.
