As a Lead Fabrication & Tooling Engineer, I oversee the structural and manufacturing design processes for industrial machinery, custom furniture brands, and cosmetic packaging companies. My primary focus is ensuring absolute accuracy for factory-floor production, eliminating material waste and tooling errors. Key Achievements & Responsibilities: Engineered 200+ structural steel weldments, automotive roll cages, and machine bases, generating automated cut lists and welding blueprints to streamline shop-floor fabrication. Designed complex flat-pack furniture and cabinetry for CNC routing, utilizing blind joinery, dog-bone fillets, and optimized 2D DXF nesting sheets to maximize plywood yield for cabinet makers. Developed high-precision injection mold tooling (Core & Cavity blocks), applying strict draft analysis, plastic shrinkage scaling, and slider mechanisms for complex undercuts to save clients thousands in Chinese factory fees. Spearheaded 3D packaging design for cosmetic and beverage brands, calculating exact liquid volumes and engineering SPI standard neck threads for mass-production blow molding.
