About me
My name is Nou Lee, and I immigrated from Laos to the U.S. at 15. I am fluent in Hmong, Lao, Thai, and English. Hmong was my first language, as my parents are Hmong. Growing up in Laos, I attended school with Lao students, which helped me become proficient in Lao. Given its similarity to Thai and my exposure to Thai media, I also developed fluency in Thai. After moving to the U.S., I learned English in high school, then earned my Associate degree at community college. I later transferred to California State University, Fresno, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in December 2024.
