About this Gig
I will setup and secure a fresh Ubuntu VPS so it is ready for hosting websites, applications, Docker containers, or other services.
This gig is for buyers who have rented a VPS but need help configuring the server correctly before deploying applications.
Depending on your package, I can configure:
- System updates and basic server settings
- Administrative user and sudo access
- SSH access and security hardening
- UFW firewall
- Fail2Ban
- Automatic security updates
- Docker Engine and Docker Compose
- Basic server validation
I use a structured setup process and verify that the server is working correctly before delivery.
This gig covers Ubuntu VPS setup only. Application installation, migrations, advanced networking, control panels, email servers, and troubleshooting existing server problems are separate services.
You will receive a short handoff summary describing what was configured and any recommended next steps.
