I will migrate your wordpress site to astro and keep your urls

About this gig
I migrate WordPress sites to Astro and keep your URLs, titles, meta descriptions and content, with 301 redirects only where a URL has to change.
- Basic: up to 5 pages with your layout, colors and fonts, as static files you upload. No blog, forms, redirects or hosting setup
- Standard: up to 15 pages and 30 posts, posts in Markdown, 301s in the format your hosting uses, new sitemap, contact form, and every old URL checked before launch
- Premium: up to 25 pages and 60 posts, plus publishing on your hosting, the sitemap in Search Console and a speed check before and after
Sliders, animations and custom plugin features are quoted apart.
In 2026 I did this for a medical center in Chile. The home page on mobile went from 6.4 s to 2.0 s (PageSpeed Insights, median of 5 runs, against an exact copy of the old site, and the move also included a new server). Search Console clicks stayed about the same after launch.
Astro builds plain HTML files, with no database and no WordPress plugins to update. It fits sites that change a few times a month. For a WooCommerce store or daily editing, in my opinion WordPress is still the better choice.
Send me your URL and page count before ordering.

FAQ
How will I edit the content afterwards?
Pages and posts live in Markdown files inside the project. Changing a text means editing a file and building the site again. If people on your team need a visual editor every week, tell me before ordering, because WordPress may still suit you better.
What happens with my forms and plugins?
A static site has no server code, so contact forms go to a form service or a small script on your server, depending on your hosting. Third party tools like booking or payments stay as links or embeds. Send me the list of plugins that do something visible.
What is not included?
WooCommerce, memberships, comments, internal search, multilingual sites and custom plugin features. Also new copy or photos, and changes to your domain, DNS or email. Tell me what your site uses and I will say what fits before you order.
Will my site load as fast as your case?
It depends on your images, your hosting and the third party scripts you keep. In Premium I measure before and after with the same method and give you the numbers, but I don't promise a specific number.
Will my Google rankings stay the same?
I can't promise that, rankings also move for reasons unrelated to the change. What I make sure of is that every URL Google knows still works or redirects in one step, and that titles, meta and content stay as they were.
Do you include the hosting?
No. The Astro build is a folder of static files that runs on shared hosting, a VPS or a static host. In Premium, or with the deploy extra, I publish it on the hosting you already have or choose.
