What versions of .NET can you migrate from?
.NET Framework 2.0 through 4.8, .NET Core 1.x–3.1, and .NET 5/6/7. I have worked on legacy WebForms, MVC, WCF, and Windows Services migrations.
Will my application break during the migration?
The migration is done in phases with continuous testing. I never replace the old version until the new one is verified to be fully functional. Your production system keeps running throughout the process.
Can you migrate a WebForms application to ASP.NET Core?
Yes. WebForms-to-Core is one of the most common migrations I handle. The UI layer is rebuilt in Razor Pages or MVC. Business logic and data access layers are preserved and upgraded.
Do I need to provide documentation of the original system?
No documentation required. I analyze the source code directly. If the code is undocumented, I write a summary of the architecture as part of the audit deliverable.
How do you handle the database during migration?
The database schema is preserved. Entity Framework or Dapper is updated to compatible versions. If the schema needs optimization, I flag it in the roadmap as a separate optional task.
What if the codebase is very large? Can you still do it in 21 days?
The Premium package covers applications up to medium size (up to ~50K lines of business logic). Very large codebases are scoped and quoted individually after the audit.
Do you offer post-migration support?
Yes. A 30-day post-delivery support package is available as an add-on. I also offer a structured maintenance retainer for ongoing development after the migration is complete.
