I worked on developing an AI-powered Web Application Firewall (WAF) to improve web application security. My work included studying common cyber attacks, creating regex patterns to detect threats, collecting and preparing traffic data, training and testing AI models, and integrating protection against SQL Injection, XSS, RCE, and DDoS attacks. I also tested and refined the firewall to improve detection accuracy and ensure that AI-based and rule-based security worked effectively together.
