What final file formats will I receive?
Depending on your needs, I can deliver: Mesh files: STL (ready for 3D printing), OBJ (with textures if applicable), or PLY. CAD-friendly files: I can provide high-quality mesh alignment or basic surface conversions compatible with Fusion 360 or Solidworks.
Is my model ready for 3D printing after cleaning?
Absolutely. If you select the "Watertight" option (included in all packages), I will ensure the mesh has no holes, no inverted normals, and is 100% manifold/ready for your slicer software.
Do you offer "Reverse Engineering" (converting mesh to STEP/IGES)?
This gig focuses on mesh cleaning and repair. If you need a full conversion to a parametric CAD model (STEP/IGES), please message me first for a custom quote, as this is a more complex process.
What counts as "Complex Geometry"?
Complex geometry includes objects with many thin features, deep cavities, intricate textures, or mechanical parts that require very high precision and many manual repairs.
