What is a Claude skill?
A folder of instructions, examples and optional scripts that Claude loads when a matching task comes up. It's how you teach Claude your way of doing a job once, instead of explaining it in every chat.
Which Claude plan do I need?
Custom skills work on Claude's Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. You upload the file in Claude's settings. Skills with scripts need code execution turned on. They also work in Claude Code and through the API.
What do you need from me?
A description of the process (a rough SOP, a screen recording, or a few examples of good output), plus any price lists, templates or rules it must follow. The order questions walk you through it.
Is my information safe?
Only send what the skill needs. Remove passwords, API keys and customers' personal details from examples; I'll use made-up test data where needed.
Do you use AI to build these?
Yes, that's the craft: I build with Claude and then test, review and fix every skill before delivery. The test report shows you exactly how it performed.
Who owns the skill?
You do, once the order is complete. It's built for your business and never resold.
