Software & Mobile App developer
Geek-Tec • Self-employed
Apr 2021 - Present • 5 yrs 3 mos
I run Geek-Tec, a solo development studio where I take ideas from concept to shipped product. Most of my work is Flutter mobile development, but I also build backend systems, AI automation pipelines, and the occasional Unity project when the work calls for it. What I build in practice - Cross-platform Flutter apps for Android and iOS, real operational tools, not demos. Member management systems, payment tracking, QR and NFC scanning, admin workflows, reports. - The FRA Management System, a Flutter + Firebase app built for the Romanian Aikido Federation. Used in production across multiple clubs for member registration, club management, and financial tracking. - An NFC tracking system for a pharmaceutical lab, Android app that reads NFC tags on lab coats, tracks wash and disinfection cycles, enforces replacement rules, and generates operational reports. - An AI email marketing pipeline for an e-commerce client, GPT-4o, Pinecone vector search, and WooCommerce data connected through n8n to generate and deliver context-aware email campaigns automatically. - HustlAI Appointment Scheduler, a WordPress booking plugin I built and released publicly. Handles booking types, availability, admin management, email notifications, calendar sync, and anti-spam. - On the game dev side, I still take on Unity and C# projects when it fits. Games, interactive simulations, 3D tools. - That background actually made me a better mobile developer, I think about performance, state, and user interaction differently because of it. How I work - I own the full delivery cycle. Requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment. - I work async and remotely by default. - I prefer shipping lean and real over planning perfect. - Currently open to Senior Flutter Developer roles, remote or hybrid.
Unity Developer (VR/XR)
ALTFACTOR • Full-time
Oct 2017 - Nov 2020 • 3 yrs 1 mo
The job required to create interactive applications in Unity3D, using C# as the main programming language. This role was to work with the other programmers and create different interactivities for our clients and to work with our level and 3D designer in order to make everything as beautiful and as interactive as possible. The project is focused on creating VR ELearning softwares for industrial businesses that are meant to be used in staff training to show them what could happen in different scenarios and how to avoid them, things that can't be demonstrated in real life or are very expensive to demonstrate. Worked with Level Designers and 3D Graphic Designers to develop our own pipeline, improve operations and create interactive applications. Devoted special emphasis to punctuality and worked to maintain outstanding attendance record, consistently arriving to work ready to start immediately. Developed new interactions and frameworks for VR projects, keeping them up to date.
