About this gig

Your Stripe payouts say one number. Your QuickBooks says another. Somebody reconciles the difference by hand every month, and hates it.

The gap is rarely one big thing. A payout that batched three days of sales across a month boundary. A refund posted against the wrong original charge. Processor fees never booked. A chargeback that reversed unnoticed.

I automate the comparison. Payouts against deposits, fees against what was charged, refunds and chargebacks matched back to the original sale. You get the exceptions, not the whole haystack.

How this runs, all in writing:

1. You send one month of Stripe export and the matching QuickBooks export

2. I confirm both cover the same window before any matching runs

3. Matching rules written in plain English for you to approve

4. First pass, with real exceptions from your data so you can check the logic early

5. Full run, every row carrying the rule that flagged it and a sentence you can act on

6. Handover docs, so your bookkeeper can run it without me

Also works with PayPal, Square and Shopify Payments, and with Xero.

Honest scope: I find and report the gaps. I do not post journal entries, and I am not an accountant.

I build automation that finds money and catches mistakes before your customers do. What that has been worth: a data product I own sells 24,760 NYC mortgage records to lenders, refreshed monthly. An FBA audit I built surfaced five overcharges in one settlement file, five different failure modes, none flagged by Amazon. For you: reconcile two systems that disagree and get back only the exceptions, find the fees you are quietly overpaying, catch wrong AI output before a customer sees it. I work in writing, I document everything I build, and I tell you what I cannot do.
