About me
I’m Ghassen Barkaoui, a Tunisian video editor and visual creator with 4+ years of professional experience, including 2 years working in media.
My main focus is video editing and post-production building rhythm, storytelling, transitions, sound design and visuals that feel intentional rather than overproduced. I work mainly with Premiere Pro, alongside After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
I also have experience in videography, photography and creative direction, which allows me to understand the whole production process not just the edit.

Cuisine Externe started in December 2023 as a simple place to share my work and experiment with ideas, with no real plan behind it. What started as a personal creative project slowly grew through photography, videography, editing, illustration, and art direction. Nearly three years later, it has turned into a full-time creative company, working on projects for brands, artists, restaurants, events, and people with ideas worth bringing to life. What began as a way to have fun with my work became the work itself.

At Yaluna Media, I worked as a Videographer and Video Editor, creating and editing a wide range of content including corporate videos, podcasts, YouTube content, documentaries, aftermovies, Instagram Reels and vlogs. My role covered the entire post-production process, from organizing and editing footage to pacing, sound design, transitions and final delivery. I also participated in art direction and concept development, contributing to the visual approach and creative ideas behind different projects. This experience allowed me to work across different formats and audiences while developing a strong understanding of both production and post-production.
