I will do squarespace migration from wordpress wix or shopify with SEO 301 redirects
Gideon B.
About this gig
Moving to Squarespace should not cost you your Google rankings. I handle Squarespace migration from WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Weebly and other platforms, rebuilding your pages, blog and products with clean structure and a 301 redirect plan so old links keep working.
Most migration problems come from broken URLs, missing metadata and content that does not transfer automatically. I plan the move first, then execute it carefully.

I help businesses improve existing Squarespace websites through thoughtful redesign, mobile responsive layouts, clearer navigation, and refined luxury editorial styling. I can assist with form and button troubleshooting, custom CSS adjustments, image optimization, and on page SEO. My workflow emphasizes careful testing, preserving important content and metadata, and mapping 301 redirects when URLs change. I communicate clearly, agree on scope before work begins, and preview changes before publishing where the site setup allows.
FAQ
Can you migrate my site without rebuilding everything manually?
Partly. I use Squarespace import tools where they work, such as WordPress posts and pages or product CSV files. Layouts, styling and content from platforms like Wix that do not export cleanly are rebuilt by hand, and imported content is always checked.
Can you migrate products, images, pages and blog posts?
es, within your package limits. I move pages, posts, images and products with descriptions, prices and variants. Order history and customer passwords usually cannot be moved, so export those records from your old platform first.
Can you preserve my existing URL structure?
Where Squarespace allows it. I match page slugs when possible, but Squarespace uses its own URL patterns for blogs, store pages and products. I list every old URL and map it to its new address.
Can you set up 301 redirects?
Yes. Redirects go in Squarespace URL Mappings as lines like /old-url -> /new-url 301. There is no bulk import, so I enter and test each rule. Whole-domain redirects are handled at the domain or DNS level instead.
Which platforms can you migrate from?
WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Weebly, Webflow and plain HTML sites, if I can view the live site and get an export or content access. This gig moves sites into Squarespace only, not away from it.
Can you migrate ecommerce content?
Yes. Products with titles, descriptions, prices, images and variants move by CSV import where possible or manual entry. Your Squarespace plan must support commerce. Payment, shipping and tax setup are quoted separately.
What happens to features that Squarespace does not support?
Features like WordPress plugins, Wix Velo code or Shopify apps may have no direct equivalent. Before starting I list them and suggest built-in features, extensions or embeds. You decide what is kept, replaced or removed.
Will my old site go offline during the migration?
No. I build in Squarespace while your old site stays live, and switch the domain only after you approve. DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to spread, so launch at a quiet time.
