Yes. I can repair common STL problems such as holes, gaps, non-manifold geometry, inverted normals, intersecting surfaces, broken geometry and other mesh errors, then prepare the file for 3D printing.
Can you fix an STL that is not slicing or printing correctly?
Yes. I can inspect the model for geometry and mesh problems that may be causing slicer errors or failed prints and make the necessary corrections.
What file formats can you repair?
I primarily work with STL, OBJ and 3MF files. If you have another 3d format, contact me first and I will confirm whether I can work with it.
Can you repair a 3d scan or messy mesh?
Yes. I can clean suitable 3D scan meshes by removing unwanted geometry, repairing holes, correcting mesh errors and optimizing the model for its intended use.
Can you modify my STL after repairing it?
Yes. Depending on the project, I can resize, split, thicken, simplify or make other basic modifications to an existing STL. Complex redesigns may require a custom offer.
Will you change the original design?
No. For a standard repair, I aim to preserve the original shape and design while correcting the mesh problems. Any design changes will only be made when you request them.
