Do you have an old Spanish manuscript you'd like to transcribe or interpret?

I'm Gladys, a specialist in Spanish paleography, with years of experience deciphering historical documents, contracts, wills, and letters from the 15th to 18th centuries.

This is how I work:

1° Send me an image of the document for my review. Some context is appreciated.

2° I will evaluate the writing style, approximate date, and legibility (abbreviations, deteriorated ink).

3° I will send you a quote based on the difficulty of the script and the number of pages. Only after your approval will I begin the work.

Why do prices vary? Earlier manuscripts' handwriting, abbreviations, smudged ink, or handling damage require more time for decoding, in addition to linguistic contextualization and research.

You'll get:

Word or PDF file with verbatim transcription, page and line numbers, notes on illegible words, and suggestions.
