About me
Operations Research engineer building optimization for routing & scheduling (VRP/VRPTW, MIP, network flow) in logistics, ports & manufacturing. Write clean, reproducible Python and integrate with SQL/Oracle. Select & tune solvers to balance quality vs runtime: Gams, OR-Tools, DOcplex/CPLEX, Gurobi, COPT. Deliverables: model + code, data prep, KPIs report, optional API. Strengths: clear comms, fast iterations, NDA ready. Skills: Python, SQL, Oracle; also C/MATLAB/FlexSim; docs in LaTeX/Markdown/MS Office.... Read more

Portfolio

Work experience

Student Research Assistant (HiWi), Computer Science

Technische Universität Dresden • Part-time

Nov 2025 - Present6 mos

Supported a PhD (CS) with LaTeX/Pandoc workflows (paper/report formatting, reproducible docs) and contributed to TU Dresden open-source tasks.

Operations Research / Optimization Engineer (Intelligent Algorithm Team)

Shanghai Miluo Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Aug 2023 - Jun 20251 yr 10 mos

Intern → Full-time engineer in an Intelligent Algorithm Team delivering optimization & simulation for container terminals. Built a simulation-based yard crane scheduling solution: decomposed into two-stage model (crane allocation + task sequencing), using OR-Tools and heuristics, with rolling-horizon scheduling. Optimized truck dispatching (TPS) for 300+ trucks and 30 quay cranes; developed a pre-free truck status module and improved time-matrix computation for high-concurrency workloads. Developed a digital-twin module for port operations: rebuilt CWP restoration to reproduce historical quay crane sequences; implemented multi-agent simulation with Mesa (event-driven + fixed time-step modes). Conducted stowage algorithm testing and KPI analysis (reshuffling rate, unallocated containers, loading efficiency), producing reproducible reports and improvement suggestions. Tech: Python, OR-Tools, SQL, Linux, Docker, Jenkins; documentation in LaTeX/Markdown.
