I'm not technical, do I need to understand any of this to work with you?
No. You tell me your goal in plain English (e.g., "my checkout is broken" or "I want an AI chatbot on my store"), and I handle everything technical. You'll get a plain English walkthrough at the end, not a wall of code.
What's the difference between Shopify Dev MCP and Admin MCP?
Dev MCP gives Claude access to Shopify's documentation and Liquid validation only. it never touches your live store. Admin MCP connects to your real store data (orders, inventory, products) through an authenticated token. I'll tell you which one your project actually needs.
Is it safe to give you or Claude access to my live store?
Yes, when scoped correctly. I only request the minimum permissions the job needs, never store credentials beyond the project, and can sign an NDA if you'd like one.
My app was built on Replit, Lovable, Bolt, or Base44. is that still something you can fix?
Yes. I regularly debug AI-generated apps regardless of which tool built them, working from the actual logic and architecture, not just Shopify-specific code.
What is Liquid, and why does it matter?
Liquid is Shopify's templating language, it controls how your theme, product pages, cart, and checkout render. Generic AI coding tools often don't validate against Liquid's rules, which is why AI-generated theme edits frequently break things. I work in Liquid directly and validate against Shopify's
Can Claude edit my orders or inventory on its own, unsupervised?
No. Nothing is automatic or unscoped. I configure exactly which actions are permitted for example, read-only inventory checks vs. full order editing based on what you authorize.
Will Claude Code work with my existing GraphQL Admin API setup, or do you need to rebuild it?
In most cases I can work with your existing integration and fix or extend it. A full rebuild is only needed if the current setup is fundamentally broken I'll tell you honestly which situation you're in after a quick look.
Can you set up automations like abandoned cart recovery or inventory alerts, or is this just AI/chat stuff?
Both that's covered in Standard and Premium packages via n8n or Make.com, separate from the Claude/chatbot work. You can order automation-only if that's all you need.
