The client, Chief Cornerstone Luxury Handbag, approached me with the vision of developing a premium luxury handbag collection that was both elegant and ready for manufacturing. While they had strong design ideas, they needed someone to translate those concepts into accurate, production-ready tech packs. I began by understanding the brand's aesthetic, target market, and functional requirements. After reviewing the initial concepts, I identified areas that needed refinement before production. One of the biggest challenges was balancing the luxurious appearance with practical construction while ensuring every detail could be manufactured accurately. Another challenge was specifying the right materials and hardware without compromising quality or functionality. To overcome these challenges, I refined the designs, selected suitable premium materials and hardware, and created detailed technical drawings and comprehensive tech packs with precise measurements, construction details, stitching instructions, and manufacturing notes. Throughout the project, I maintained clear communication with the client to ensure every revision aligned with their vision. The result was a production-ready luxury handbag collection with professional documentation that simplified manufacturing, reduced production errors, and gave the client confidence to move into sampling and production.

The client, Serve Metal Handbag, reached out to me to develop a handbag that would seamlessly incorporate custom metal components while maintaining a premium, fashion-forward design. They needed a production-ready design and a detailed tech pack that would clearly communicate every specification to their manufacturer. I started by understanding the brand's vision, the purpose of the bag, and how the metal elements would complement both the aesthetics and functionality. During the design process, one of the biggest challenges was ensuring the metal hardware integrated perfectly with the leather construction without adding unnecessary weight or compromising durability. Another challenge was documenting the complex hardware placements and assembly details accurately for manufacturing. To overcome these challenges, I refined the bag's structure, selected suitable materials and hardware, and developed detailed technical drawings with precise measurements, stitching details, hardware specifications, construction methods, and manufacturing notes. I also worked closely with the client throughout the process, making revisions to ensure the final design matched their expectations. The final result was a premium, manufacturing-ready handbag supported by a comprehensive tech pack that simplified production, minimized errors during sampling, and gave the client confidence to move forward with manufacturing.
