Do you design parts for CNC machining?
Yes, absolutely. I design parts keeping the actual manufacturing process in mind, ensuring that the tool paths, radiuses, and tolerances are realistic for CNC milling or turning.
What inputs do you need to create a 2D drawing?
I need your 3D model (preferably in STEP, IGES, or Autodesk Inventor format). If you don't have a 3D model, please contact me, and I can create one from your hand-drawn sketches for an additional fee.
Do you include tolerances in your drawings?
Yes. If you specify the working conditions or the mating parts, I will apply the correct ISO/DIN fits and tolerances (GD&T) so the parts assemble perfectly in real life.
What drawing standard do you follow?
I work to ISO and DIN standards by default. If you need ANSI/ASME standards for the US market, just let me know and I will adapt the drawing accordingly.
Can you create a drawing without a 3D model?
Yes! If you have a detailed sketch with dimensions I can create the 2D drawing directly. Contact me first so we can discuss the level of detail available.
