Do I need to contact you before ordering?
Yes, please contact me first. I will check your current hosting, destination provider, website size and technical requirements to confirm the right package.
Will my website look the same after migration?
The goal is to preserve your existing design, content and functionality. I will perform basic checks after migration. Compatibility issues caused by the new hosting environment may require additional work.
Will my website experience downtime?
Some downtime may occur during the transfer or DNS changes. I will plan the migration to minimize disruption, but zero downtime cannot be guaranteed.
What is the difference between migration and cloning?
Migration moves an existing WordPress site to a new hosting provider or domain. Cloning creates a separate copy, for example on a staging environment, while the original remains available.
Do you also migrate email accounts?
Yes, email migration is available as an optional extra at $30 per mailbox, where supported. Large mailboxes or complex configurations may require a custom quote.
Can you migrate WooCommerce or complex websites?
Yes, some WooCommerce and complex WordPress migrations may be possible, but they are not included in the standard packages. Please contact me for an assessment and custom offer.
What access will you need?
I usually need access to both hosting accounts and WordPress administrator access. Depending on the setup, I may also need domain or DNS management access. Temporary credentials are recommended.
