About this gig

Need a Python script that turns your CSV or Excel files into a finished report? That is what I build.

WHAT I AUTOMATE

- CSV or Excel export into a formatted Excel report with KPIs and charts

- Several files merged, cleaned and checked for plausibility

- A manual Excel routine turned into a script that runs on a schedule

- Data pulled from an API or database into one report

WHAT YOU GET

A documented Python script, a README, and the output file we agreed on before I started. It runs on Windows, macOS or Linux. It is yours, and you can run it again next month without me.

HOW I WORK

I ask my questions first. We fix the output in writing. Then I build it. No design loops, no scope drift. A revision fixes anything that does not match the agreed spec.

WHO I AM

M.Sc. in IT Management, 10 years in enterprise IT, currently Product Owner for SAP ERP, writing Python for over 20 years. I work in English and German.

WHAT I DO NOT DO

Interface design and open-ended maintenance. I would rather tell you now than after you order.

Send me a sample file and a description of the report you need, and I will tell you which package fits.

I build small, clearly defined software packages and deliver them finished — no open-ended projects, no design-by-committee. Background: M.Sc. in IT Management, 10 years in enterprise SAP environments, currently Product Owner for SAP ERP. I have been programming for over 20 years, mainly Python. What I do best: turning messy data into clean automated reports, writing API integrations to spec, and building command-line tools that just run. Working language: English or German. I answer questions before I quote, and I deliver what the spec says.
