Worked as a freelance children's book illustrator, helping authors bring their stories and imaginative ideas to life through engaging, expressive, and professionally crafted illustrations. My responsibilities included developing unique characters, creating detailed backgrounds and scenes, maintaining character consistency across multiple pages, and using visual storytelling to complement each manuscript. I collaborated closely with authors to understand their story, target age group, characters, mood, themes, and creative vision before developing illustrations tailored to the book's unique requirements. My work involved creating captivating book covers and interior illustrations designed to engage young readers and enhance the overall storytelling experience. Throughout each project, I focused on expressive characters, appealing color combinations, detailed environments, balanced compositions, and consistent visual styles. I carefully incorporated client feedback and revisions while maintaining clear communication, attention to detail, and timely delivery. My goal in every project was to transform written stories into memorable visual experiences that capture children's imagination while giving authors professional, high quality illustrations suitable for children's picture books and publishing.
