FAQ
What's the minimum order quantity you can help with?
Typically 100–2000pcs. If you're still at the single-prototype stage, check out my prototype Gig instead. If you're above 2000pcs, message me first — pricing and lead time need a custom quote.
Do you own the factory?
No — I work with a vetted network of manufacturing partners in Shenzhen that I personally coordinate with and inspect. This gives you flexibility: I match your part to the right process/capacity instead of forcing everything through one shop.
Does the package price include the parts themselves?
No. The listed price covers my coordination, sourcing, and quality control service. Parts cost (material + machining + shipping) is quoted separately by the manufacturer and paid on top — I'll get you 2–3 transparent quotes before anything is ordered.
What if my design isn't ready for production yet?
That's common. I'll flag manufacturability issues before your batch goes into production — this is included in Standard and Premium, not an extra step you need to arrange separately.
How do you handle quality control?
I do pre-shipment inspection (dimensional check against your drawing, visual defect check, sample photos/video) before the batch leaves China. Full inspection reports are included in Standard and Premium.
What if the factory misses the deadline or quality doesn't match spec?
I manage the relationship directly, so issues get caught and escalated before shipment — not after you've already received bad parts.
What files do you need from me?
STEP/STP or native CAD file, plus a dimensioned 2D drawing if you have one (I can help clean this up if you don't — see my other Gig). Material spec, tolerance requirements, and target quantity.
How fast do you respond?
Typically within 24–48 hours depending on project complexity.
