Hello! My name is James! I’m a corporate trainer with over a decade of experience in public speaking, explainer and corporate video narration, and training video and e-learning voice-over.
My experience with face-to-face training allows me to get connected with your script and deliver voice overs in a variety of tones and emotions to fit your project perfectly.
I record my voiceovers on either a Synco Mic-D2 or Stellar X2 microphone, and Motu M2 audio interface in an acoustically treated recording space to achieve the professional broadcast quality audio you require.
FAQ
What are "commercial rights?"
Commercial rights are for voiceovers used for ANY business purposes, even those that are on unpaid channels. If multiple gig quantity needs to be purchased for a single voiceover due to length, only one commercial license is required for the entire voiceover.
What are "broadcast rights?"
Broadcast rights are required for any voiceovers that will be used for paid distribution. Examples of this include (but are not limited to) paid e-learning courses and monetized YouTube videos of any length. If you're unsure if you need these rights, send me a message and ask!
Can you narrate in an accent?
I can do a few, including standard British, Irish and Scottish, but for e-learning it will sound more natural in my natural American English accent.
Can you proofread my script?
Of course! Please select the proofread option under my gig extras and I will make sure your script is grammatically correct before I start recording.
What qualifies for a revision?
Revisions are changes needed due to mistakes I may have made (missed words, incorrect pronunciation, etc.) What do NOT qualify as revisions: Changes that modify the script in ANY WAY. Script changes will require purchase of a new gig at full price.
What time zone are you in?
I'm in the Eastern time zone. I'm happy to work with you regardless of your time zone, however communications sent after 10:00 PM Eastern may not be replied to until the next day.
What file format will voiceovers be delivered in?
My standard file delivery is 48 KHz., 24 bit WAV format. Other audio formats and bitrates are available to suit your needs, just let me know at the time of order!
I need a voice to train my AI, can you help me?
No. I do not read scripts for voice cloning, generative AI, or synthetic voice services of any kind.
