What is a PowerGrade?
A PowerGrade is a complete DaVinci Resolve node tree that contains grading adjustments, look development and finishing tools. Unlike a LUT, it remains fully editable and can be adapted to different shots.
What do you need from me?
Please send your camera model, recording profile or color space, a few representative clips or stills, and visual references for the look you want to achieve.
Can you recreate a look from a film or reference image?
Yes. I can build a custom PowerGrade inspired by your references while adapting the look to your footage, camera and workflow.
Will the PowerGrade work on every shot automatically?
No PowerGrade can perfectly match every shot with one click. It is designed as a flexible starting point that can be adjusted for exposure, white balance, contrast and shot-to-shot differences.
Is this the same as buying a LUT?
No. A LUT applies a fixed transformation, while a PowerGrade gives you an editable node structure and much more control over how the look is created and adjusted.
Can you build it for DaVinci Wide Gamut?
Yes. I can create the PowerGrade around DaVinci Wide Gamut or another color-managed workflow depending on your project.
Can I customize the PowerGrade after delivery?
Yes. The node tree is fully editable, so you can modify the intensity, contrast, color, grain and other elements to suit your footage.
Do you include film grain or texture?
