About this gig

Most websites are built first and made accessible later, if ever. I do it the other way round.

I design and build sites that meet WCAG 2.2 level AA from the first line of code, so you are not paying twice: once for the site, once for the remediation.

This matters if you sell into the EU. The European Accessibility Act deadline passed on June 28, 2025, and it requires a conformity assessment, not just good intentions.

What you get:

- Custom build, no page builders, no bloated templates

- Semantic HTML, full keyboard operability, visible focus states

- Tested with NVDA and VoiceOver, not just automated scanners

- Contrast, reflow and zoom checked against WCAG 2.2 AA

- An accessibility test report at handover

- Fast, static-first pages that score well on Core Web Vitals

I am a UX designer with 10+ years of experience, mostly in enterprise environments. I also teach accessibility: I run a WCAG course and a YouTube channel on the subject.

Send me your brief and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right fit.
