First I try to understand the patterns under data by plotting some graphs. Then make sure is correct machine learning model is implemented or not. Then try to apply optimization techniques. If still model prediction is bad then i will try to give first model's output as an input.

To train machine learning model on your own dataset i will preprocess it and clean it and apply different analysis to make sure the patterns.
