FAQ
What do you need from me to start?
Anything that describes your idea — a sketch (even hand-drawn), photos, reference products, dimensions, or a written description. The more detail, the better, but I can work from rough concepts too.
What file formats will I receive?
STEP, STL, and PDF drawings by default. Native SolidWorks files (SLDPRT/SLDASM) are included in Standard and Premium packages.
Can you design my product for 3D printing?
Yes — I deliver print-ready STL files optimized for 3D printing. Note: I provide the design files; printing and shipping the physical part is done on your side.
Do you do FEA / stress analysis?
Yes, that's one of my core specialties. I can verify whether your part will handle its expected loads before you spend money manufacturing it.
Will my design be manufacturable, not just a nice model?
That's the whole point of my DFM review — I check wall thicknesses, tolerances, material choices, and features that would be expensive or impossible to manufacture, and flag them before delivery.
Is my idea safe with you? (NDA)
Absolutely. Your files and ideas stay confidential, and I'm happy to sign an NDA before you share details.
What if my project doesn't fit any package?
Message me — most real projects need a custom offer. Describe what you need and I'll send a quote with scope, price, and timeline.
Do you provide revisions?
Yes, each package includes revisions (1–3 depending on tier). Additional revisions are available as an extra.
