Claude is Anthropic's AI model family, similar in category to GPT but with strong reasoning and tool-use capabilities. I use the Claude API and Claude Agent SDK/Claude Code to build agents that can actually take actions — not just chat.
Do I need my own Anthropic API key
Yes, for anything beyond the design/prototype stage you'll need your own Anthropic API key (billed to your account) so you retain full ownership and control of usage costs. I'll guide you through getting one if you don't have it.
Can you integrate Claude into my existing app?
