I will set up oracle data guard standby database for disaster recovery
About this Gig
Is your Oracle database running without a standby, or is your current standby out of sync? I can set it up or fix it.
I work with Oracle 11g and 19c on Linux. I have configured physical and logical standby, done manual switchover and failover, and recovered standby databases that had missing archive logs, all in live production environments.
1. Review your primary database and network setup
2. Configure the standby and redo transport
3. Verify that logs are shipping and applying
4. Test a switchover so you know it works
5. Hand over a short document with steps and commands
What I need from you:
- Oracle version and OS details
- A test server or a planned time window Each package covers 1 database on Oracle 11g/19c on Linux. multiple standbys need a custom offer.
I prefer working on a screen share so you can watch every step, and I'm happy to sign an NDA. Not sure if this fits your setup?
Message me before ordering and I'll tell you honestly if I can help.

Relational database
FAQ
Q: Do you work directly on production databases?
A: Yes, but I prefer to do a test run first and then the final work in a planned maintenance window. This keeps your production safe.
Q: Which Oracle versions do you support?
A: I work with Oracle 11g and 19c on Linux. If you use another version or OS, message me before ordering and I’ll tell you if I can help.
Q: Is my data and server access safe?
A: I can work on a screen share, or with a temporary account that you create. Access is removed once the work is delivered. I’m also happy to sign an NDA.
